Today’s Christmas Coffee morning was a great success. On this beautiful autumn morning the doors opened at 10am and within half an hour the hall was full! Fantastic stalls offering sumptuous cakes made in our very kitchens and homemade marmalades from our volunteers. The craft group produced an array of fun tea cosies, there was even little knitted Christmas pudding hats for Ferrero Rocher fans! The jewellery and card stalls yet again were a big success, with jewellery for every occasion and a fantastic handmade Christmas card selection. Bric a Brac stalls were busy selling donated items. Lots of lovely tombola prizes were being won..wine, chocolates and toiletries. The tea & coffee was flowing accompanied by mince pies to put us all in the Christmas mood. With the weather being so good we were lucky enough to open the doors to the garden and many people sat outside soaking up some autumn sun.
Many thanks to all the residents, staff and volunteers for all your work. And thank you to all those who came along to support us. Today we raised £1457.09 for the Residents’ Welfare Fund.
