BBCH is owned by the Religious Society of Friends.
We aim to provide the warmth and security of a loving family, within a small community, in accommodation of the highest standard
BBCH is registered for 63 residents.
Our registration category is elderly, and we take male and female residents from 65 years old,

Nursing facilities are not provided.

Accommodation
We have 30 rooms in the main building, all on ground floor, ranging between 13 to 20 sq metres.
All rooms are en-suite, most of rooms having a shower.
All rooms have an attractive view over the gardens.
Hoist assisted bathrooms are available in each wing, which can be used independently if you wish.
There is a main dining room and lounge, which is also used for activities, with a small lounge for resident's use in each wing. We have accommodation for up to13 couples.
Cottages consist of a kitchen, lounge, bedroom and bathroom, with its own front door. Sizes range between
bedroom 10.6m²  & lounge 12.9 m²
bedroom 12.9m² & lounge 15.3 m²
All cottages have an attractive view over the gardens.
We aim to improve the quality of life to the maximum potential, providing dignity, independence and privacy.
Residents' Care plans are regularly reviewed with the residents and relatives/friends if desired
We encourage residents to bring their own furniture and belongings as this ensures that it is their home.
The extensive activity programme encourages interests and hobbies, which are of course entirely optional.
24 hr care is provided to support residents, while allowing as much independence and privacy as possible.
Friends and relatives are invited to offer suggestions with regard to the running of the Homes.
The Forum Committee (set up by the residents) provides another source of feedback from residents and allows us to continuously improve our service.
We welcome help from family and friends,
who are welcome to visit at any reasonable time,
as well as Trustees and House Committee members from the local meeting.
