New Staff at the Homes
Julia Gorringe has just re-joined us as a housekeeper. She is already well known to everyone here as she has been part of BBCH as a housekeeper, a care assistant and in the kitchen for over 20 years. Julia has lived in Polegate nearly all her life and one of our residents was her teacher in the infants class! She is also known for her dressmaking skills, as many residents appreciate.
Jemma Warner has just joined us as a housekeeper, work in which she already has experience. She lives locally and worked for a time with a local retailer. Originally she lived in Croydon. She enjoys sporting activities and used to play football as a striker in a local ladies team. She likes the outdoor life, including walking on the downs and by the sea.
Andrea Charman became a member of our care staff in October. She studied at Sussex Downs College and has had three years experience caring for adults. She lives locally and enjoys cycling with friends. Already she likes her work here and appreciates the value of patient care—and she particularly enjoys hearing residents tell their life stories.
