Residents at BBCH recently spent a peaceful and inspiring evening exploring still life drawing, led by the talented Nicole Blight. Nicole brought a calm presence and a wealth of artistic experience, gently guiding everyone through the process of observational sketching.

The subject was a classic still life scene: a stovetop coffee pot, a teapot, and a cup—carefully arranged to challenge and inspire. With Nicole’s encouragement, Residents focused on light, shadow, and proportion, bringing these everyday objects to life on paper.
Nicole’s own background in illustration and hand-drawn typography added an extra layer of insight to the session. Her passion for the detail and character of drawn work shone through, encouraging everyone to find confidence in their own creative style.
