Easter celebrations began on Good Friday with a Call to Worship in the Main Lounge. Later in the afternoon, everyone came together over tea and hot cross buns.

Saturday was relaxed and sociable. Some enjoyed a game of Scrabble or Rummikub in the Dining Room, while other Residents watched a film in the main lounge.

Easter Sunday began with a Quaker Meeting for Worship in the Quiet Room, followed by a festive Easter lunch where wine and Schloer were served alongside a delicious meal. Afterwards, Residents enjoyed coffee and chocolate eggs.

Staff joined in the fun too, dressed in bunny ears and fluffy tails — much to everyone’s delight!

Easter Monday kept the festive spirit going, with egg hunts taking place inside the Main Building and out in the Peace Garden. Afterwards, sherry and nibbles were served in the Main Lounge, and later, a cooked breakfast-style tea brought the long weekend to a close.
