A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s Summer Fayre such a fantastic success!

The Mayor of Polegate, Dan Dunbar, officially open the Fayre alongside one of our longest-standing Residents, Sheila, who has lived here for an incredible 22 years.

The day was packed with fun and laughter. We were entertained by the Ragged Phoenix Morris Dancers and the joyful sounds of The Lewukulele Band from Lewes.

Pet Pals Therapy were a big hit, bringing along their adorable sheep, guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, and even ducks – a delight for both residents and guests of all ages.

Our BBQ was sizzling, and the strawberries and cream went down a treat in the sunshine.

There were craft stalls, plants, tombola, and one of the highlights of the day – the “Splash the Staff” stand, where brave team members got soaked with sponges for a good cause (and plenty of laughs!).

Visitors also had the opportunity to tour the home and take a sneak peek at our brand-new Activities Centre, currently under construction – an exciting addition we can't wait to open.

We’re incredibly grateful to all the Residents, staff, volunteers, visitors, and entertainers who joined us – your support made the day truly special. We’re thrilled to share that we raised an amazing £2,614.90! All proceeds will go directly towards enriching our Residents’ lives through activities, events, and outings.
