Wonderful 100
Updated: 12 hours ago
One of our wonderful residents, Irene, celebrated an incredible milestone, her 100th birthday!
Irene's family joined us for this very special celebration, making the afternoon truly memorable. Residents & guests enjoyed a delicious cream tea, giving everyone the opportunity to come together and celebrate this remarkable occasion.
We were honoured to welcome Deputy Lieutenant Tim Cobb, who gave a lovely speech reflecting on Irene's remarkable career and family life. Tim also presented Irene with her congratulatory card from The King and Queen to mark her 100th birthday.
We were also delighted to welcome Cllr Dan Dunbar Deputy Mayor of Polegate , who introduced Tim and joined us in celebrating this wonderful occasion.
It was a fantastic afternoon of celebration, bringing together family, friends and members of the local community to honour Irene on her special day. Happy 100th Birthday, Irene!
Thank you all for putting on such a wonderful celebration for her. You are all so kind and thoughtful at Bernhard Baron Care Home. I feel so fortunate that you had a place for her when she needed it.
