We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s Summer Fayre such a fantastic success!
It was wonderful to welcome so many Residents, families, friends, trustees, staff, volunteers and visitors to Bernhard Baron Care Home for an afternoon filled with fun, laughter, entertainment and plenty of delicious treats.
There was something for everyone to enjoy, with a wonderful selection of stalls including crafts, gifts, bric-a-brac, pre-loved clothes and books, as well as our ever-popular Tombola, which proved a big hit with visitors.
For those looking for something tasty, our BBQ was sizzling throughout the afternoon, while strawberries and cream, homemade cakes, tea and coffee provided plenty of opportunities to sit back, relax and enjoy the day.
The created a fantastic atmosphere. Visitors had the chance to meet Rosie the Little Grey Pony, while the Ragged Phoenix Morris Dancers brought plenty of energy and colour to the afternoon. We also enjoyed toe-tapping entertainment from Rockin’ Mic, who kept everyone entertained with a great selection of music.
It was lovely to see our community coming together and enjoying the sunshine, with Residents at the heart of the celebrations. Events like our Summer Fayre are a wonderful opportunity for Residents, their families, friends, staff and the wider community to spend time together and create happy memories.
Thanks to the incredible generosity and support of everyone who attended, donated, volunteered and helped behind the scenes, we are delighted to announce that the Summer Fayre raised an amazing £2,618.18!
All the money raised will go directly towards Residents' activities and outings, helping us to provide even more enjoyable and meaningful experiences throughout the year.
From day trips and special activities to opportunities to explore new places and enjoy time together, your support will help us create many more wonderful memories for our Residents.
The Summer Fayre was made possible through the wonderful contribution of Residents, staff, volunteers, visitors, stallholders, entertainers and local businesses, all of whom played a part in creating such a memorable occasion. From helping to organise the event and running stalls, to donating items, providing entertainment and generously donating prizes for the Tombola, everyone’s involvement helped make the afternoon such a success.
