Crafting Fabergé Eggs

Spring is just around the corner, and what better way to welcome its arrival than by indulging in some creative pursuits? At BBCH, Residents recently came together for a delightful session of art and crafts, crafting pinch pots and adorning exquisite Fabergé eggs in anticipation of the upcoming Spring Fayre.

The atmosphere was filled with excitement and creativity as residents gathered in the communal space, eager to unleash their artistic talents. Guided by skilled volunteer, Nadine, they embarked on a journey of discovery, exploring the intricate techniques of pottery-making and egg decoration.

First up on the agenda were pinch pots—a simple yet satisfying art form that allows for endless creativity. With clay in hand, Residents shaped and moulded their pots.

As the pinch pots dried, attention turned to the pièce de résistance: decorating Fabergé eggs. Inspired by the ornate designs of the legendary jeweller, Residents set to work, carefully applying layers of paint, glitter, and embellishments to transform simple eggs into works of art fit for royalty! From delicate floral motifs to dazzling gemstone accents, each egg was a testament to the skill and creativity of its creators.
