There’s something about the arrival of spring that brings a renewed sense of energy, joy, and togetherness—and here at BBCH, we’ve truly been embracing the season in full bloom.

We had a wonderful Spring Fayre, which brought a real buzz to our home. From stalls filled with knitted ducks to delicious treats and friendly faces, it was a fantastic way to welcome our community and the new season.

Of course, no spring celebration would be complete without a nod to tradition, and our residents are thoroughly enjoying making Simnel cakes. With the scent of marzipan and freshly baked sponge filling the air, it was both a nostalgic and creative activity.

We also turned our attention to Mother’s Day, celebrating it with a beautiful flower arranging session. There’s something incredibly calming and uplifting about working with flowers, and the results were simply stunning. We decorated the Mother’s Day lunch tables with the bouquets.

As the days grow longer and the sunshine (hopefully!) becomes more frequent, we’re looking forward to even more opportunities to get outdoors, get creative, and continue celebrating spring together.
