We were delighted to welcome a student from Willingdon School this week for her work experience placement with us. Throughout the week, she became a wonderful part of our home, spending time supporting our Activities Team and getting involved in a wide variety of daily activities with our residents.

From arranging a beautiful gallery of pictures and paintings in our corridors, to helping with our Exercise 4All class, she brought enthusiasm and kindness to everything she did. She also joined Nadine, one of our volunteers running the weekly BBCH shop in our Activities Centre and helped organise a lively game of Musical Bingo, which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.

It is always a pleasure to welcome young people for work experience. Not only do they gain valuable insight into life and work within a care home, but our Residents also truly enjoy spending time with younger generations, sharing conversations, laughter, and experiences together.

A big thank you to our Willingdon School student for all of her help this week — we hope you enjoyed your time with us and wish you all the very best for the future!
