Berwick Church Outing

This week, our Residents had the pleasure of visiting Berwick Church, East Sussex. Tucked away in the beautiful South Downs, the church is famous for its stunning murals painted by members of the Bloomsbury Group—Duncan Grant, Vanessa Bell, and Quentin Bell.

During the visit, Residents admired the vibrant works, including Christ in Glory, The Annunciation, and The Supper at Emmaus. Each painting tells a biblical story in a modernist style, creating a serene and inspiring atmosphere.

After exploring the church, residents enjoyed a lovely tea and cake.

We very much enjoyed meeting you and your Residents on Monday.   It was uplifting to see the lovely relationships between the staff and Residents and to hear such enthusiasm from both about the beauty of the church.
